In this article, we'll introduce ourselves the best way we know how, while sharing our vision and aspirations of what we want to be.
In short, at Local Web Pilot we are a Newsletter & Blog exploring how to support your local small businesses in succeeding on the internet. We are excited, and by the end of this article, we hope you are too. In this blog post, we will explore who we are, what we do, and how we support local small businesses in the Greater Orlando and Central Florida region. Then we will end with ways you can get involved and take action.

What We Do

At Local Web Pilot, we aim to see local small businesses succeed on the internet — from simply having a great local presence, to actively leveraging the power of the web technology — even culture.
Our approach is to find and share solutions that help local businesses take command & control of their business on the web, and to build a community that builds upon our work, doing our part in helping businesses in Orlando & Central Florida to be prosperous and competitive now and into the future.
Success = Your Businesses making customers who are fans and making money that is good.

At Local Web Pilot, we believe in the power of community. We aspire to cultivate a supportive online community through platforms like our newsletter, and future Slack, Discord, and Meetup communities. Our community aims to fosters collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and networking opportunities for local businesses and agencies. Additionally, we are planning to host regular meetups, both online and offline, to bring together like-minded individuals and facilitate discussions on industry trends, challenges, and solutions.

At Local Web Pilot, we aim to provide our value through research, content, and community building—not by selling products & services. We want to maintain objectivity. However, we feel compelled to host, support, and offer the our first Business App powered by Vendasta and other solutions we're developing to better understand the challenges and prototype effective solutions. Not by only selling them valuable services and products, but through research, journalism, advocacy, community engagement, and good vibes.
