Have a black dude, young looking 40s sitting on his back porch somewhere in Greater Orlando, overlooking a lake, and have him drinking his coffee on his laptop with a second screen checking analytics (only show the screes if you can make them look real and not fake text)

Local Web Pilots, defined
As a quick overview of what we mean by Local Web Pilot, so we can begin to get loud and call for them.
“Web Pilot”
Web Pilot is a web expert that helps an organization (their own or others) navigate the web by taking command & control and growing the business online. Read on to learn more about the duties of Local Web Pilots and the scope they may have.
“Local”
The local part is to distinguish and focus on local web experts (pilots) that serve local customers and their local-based businesses.
Duties, Scope of a Local Web Pilot
A complete pilot (or team of Pilots — human and robots) will be able to cover design, development, deployment/publishing, management, monitoring, systems (SOPs, automation, and AI) in the following areas, but not limited to:
Local SEO
Manage all aspects of the local business search visibility. This involves optimizing the business's online presence to appear in local search results, managing business listings across various platforms (Google, Apple Maps, Yelp, …), and ensuring consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone) information.
Reputation
A local web pilot should implement a comprehensive reputation management approach that includes:
- Monitoring and responding to customer feedback across all review platforms within 24 hours
- Properly escalating negative reviews to management for appropriate handling
- Creating (and/or facilitating) personalized responses to positive reviews to build brand loyalty
- Continuously monitoring customer sentiment across multiple platforms
- Analyzing feedback data to generate actionable business improvements
When implemented effectively, this reputation management system enhances customer relations while improving the business's visibility in local search results and building credibility with potential customers.

Social Media
This is an area where we recommend web pilots set up and maintain the infrastructure but work with the client to post the content, so it comes directly from them.
Website
The way to publish a website for a restaurant in 2024 and soon to be 2025 are numerous. Even the easy ways, which can (and can not) be the best way — but that is for another article.

Cover all the stages of the cycle
The modern web pilot is expected to cover (and the very least, facilitate) the cycle of designing, developing, deploying, and managing websites, which is commonly known as the Web Development Life Cycle. It consists of these key stages:
- Research
- Planning
- Designing
- Content Creation
- Development
- Testing
- Maintenance/Management
Design, Development
These skills will be needed for clients with new businesses and established businesses that already has a website. The businesses website needs to will need to design and develop new features as their business evolves and consumer behavior and the economy change.
Publishing/Deployment
Management
The main thing is that you are or have someone to manage it, reliably, within a day - preferably, within the hour.
Your Robots are welcome.
If you deploy an AI workforce of agents, automation, and assistants - even better. In fact, we expect you to use AI to help provide value for your local small business clients.
You are wanted needed by local small businesses
